Our Background

Speech Get Together (SGT) is a student-led nonprofit speech competition designed to make public speaking more approachable, impactful, and empowering for students of all levels.

 

From the beginning, SGT has aimed to create a platform where young speakers can not only compete but also grow. Here, students are encouraged to find their voice, explore different speech formats, and develop the confidence to speak with clarity and purpose.

 

Our mission is to create a space where public speaking is not about perfection but about progress. We believe that everyone, whether a first-time speaker or an experienced debater, deserves the chance to express their ideas in a supportive, inspiring environment.
